We stand behind our products with comprehensive coverage and dedicated support
Interdesk™ warrants that eligible Interdesk™ height-adjustable desks (“Product” or “Products”) shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential or office use, subject to the terms and exclusions set out herein.
This Limited Warranty shall commence on the date the Product is received by the customer, based on Interdesk™ delivery records, and shall remain valid for a period of five (5) years.
This warranty applies solely to the original purchaser unless otherwise approved in writing by Interdesk™.
1. Motor and Frame Assembly
Interdesk™ provides a five (5) year limited warranty covering defects affecting:
- Desk motor(s)
- Height adjustment mechanism(s)
- Structural frame components
- Mechanical lifting components and associated frame mechanisms
Interdesk™ shall repair or replace defective covered components where failure arises from ordinary day-to-day use under intended operating conditions.
Coverage applies only where defects materially affect the functionality or operation of the Product.
2. Manufacturing Defects Upon Delivery
Interdesk™ warrants Products against manufacturing defects present at the point of delivery, including but not limited to:
- Chips
- Cuts
- Dents
- Manufacturing imperfections
- Material defects affecting functionality
- Missing components supplied with the original order
Covered missing components may include, without limitation:
- Screws and fastening hardware
- Frame components
- Purchased desk accessories
- Castors
- Other items included within the original order
Any manufacturing defect or missing component claim must be reported to Interdesk™ within twenty-four (24) hours of receiving the Product.
Failure to notify Interdesk™ within the stipulated timeframe may result in the claim being declined.
Except as expressly provided herein and to the fullest extent permitted under applicable Singapore law, Interdesk™ excludes all express and implied warranties not expressly stated within this Limited Warranty.
Interdesk™'s total liability under this warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price paid for the affected Product.
Nothing within this warranty excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer protection legislation.Interdesk™ reserves the right to amend, revise, or update these warranty terms from time to time without prior notice, provided that any amendments shall not affect warranty rights already accrued for Products purchased prior to such amendments.
1. Electronic Components
The following components are expressly excluded:
- Desk controllers
- AC adaptors
- Power adaptors
- Electronic accessories not expressly stated as covered under Section 2
2. Cosmetic Variations
Minor cosmetic imperfections that do not materially affect functionality, including but not limited to:
- Surface marks
- Minor aesthetic variations
- Material grain variations
- Finish differences
- Naturally occurring material characteristics
- Minor deviations from marketing or website imagery
3. Normal Wear and Tear
Normal product ageing and deterioration, including but not limited to:
- Surface wear
- Material degradation
- Minor scratches
- Cosmetic ageing
- General wear arising from ordinary use
4. Improper Use or Modification
Defects or failures resulting from:
- Improper assembly
- Improper installation
- Misuse
- Abuse
- Negligence
- Unauthorised modification or alteration
- Failure to follow maintenance instructions
- Improper care or storage
5. Environmental or External Factors
Damage arising from:
- Fire
- Flooding
- Water damage
- Excessive moisture exposure
- High humidity
- High heat environments
- High salinity environments
- Pollutant exposure
- Thermal degradation
- Organic solvents
- Chemical exposure
- Contact with animals
- Environmental conditions outside intended operating use
6. Commercial or Abnormal Use
Use outside intended operating conditions, including commercial or industrial use beyond the Product’s designed application.
7. Customer-Caused Transportation Damage
Damage arising during transport arranged independently by customers.
8. Consequential and Incidental Loss
Interdesk™ shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or economic losses, including but not limited to:
- Loss of use
- Loss of productivity
- Business interruption
- Lost profits
- Secondary property damage
9. Display Sets and Clearance Items
Unless otherwise expressly stated in writing by Interdesk™, this Limited Warranty shall not apply to display sets, showroom units, clearance items, clearance display pieces, or products sold on an “as-is” or “display set” basis.
Such products may exhibit cosmetic imperfections, wear arising from prior handling, or usage conditions that fall outside the scope of this Limited Warranty.
Any warranty coverage extended to display sets or clearance items shall be expressly communicated in writing at the point of purchase.
To submit a warranty claim, customers must provide:
- Valid proof of purchase
- Order number
- Receipt documentation
- Clear photographs or videos evidencing the alleged defect
Interdesk™ reserves the right to request further documentation or evidence reasonably necessary to assess warranty eligibility.
Failure to provide sufficient supporting information may result in the claim being rejected.
Where a valid warranty claim is approved, Interdesk™ may, at its sole discretion:
- Repair the defective Product;
- Provide replacement component(s); or
- Provide an alternative remedy deemed commercially reasonable by Interdesk™.
Replacement parts supplied under warranty shall be provided free of charge for covered defects.
Interdesk™ reserves the right to determine whether repair or replacement is the most appropriate resolution.
Replacement components may vary slightly in appearance due to manufacturing updates, material variations, or production changes.
Warranty coverage applies only to eligible replacement parts or repair solutions.
The following charges shall apply:
1. On-Site Servicing
Customers requesting on-site servicing shall incur a service and transport charge of:
SGD $12 per service visit
This fee applies notwithstanding approval of warranty coverage.
2. Self Drop-Off Servicing
Customers may elect to bring their Product or affected components to Interdesk™'s designated showroom or servicing location.
Where customers arrange their own transport to the servicing location, no transport or on-site service charge shall apply.
3. Transport Costs
Except where expressly stated otherwise, warranty coverage does not include:
- Customer transport costs
- Collection charges
- Delivery charges
- Third-party labour costs
- Installation costs
- Packaging costs
